Mr. Harris began the formation of RelianzBank when he left his previous employer in August of 2004 to begin the process of completing the necessary regulatory paperwork to receive a bank charter and federal deposit insurance coverage. Approval was obtained for a state bank charter in May of 2005 with FDIC approval coming in July of 2005.
Mr. Harris is a twenty year commercial banker in the Wichita community, starting his banking career in March of 1986 with Bank of Mid-America (acquired by Bank IV in 1988). Over the years, Mr. Harris has served in many positions with local commercial banks in the areas of consumer lending, branch management, commercial lending, institutional banking and commercial real estate lending. He has held the position of manager over the commercial real estate lending departments for Bank of America and Railroad Savings Bank (Commercial Federal Bank) in addition to serving in Senior Vice President/Commercial Client Manager roles with Bank of America and Commerce Bank in Wichita. A majority of Mr. Harris' lending expertise is in the area of commercial real estate finance.
Mr. Harris is a 1980 Maize High School graduate and a thirty year resident of West Wichita. Mr. Harris is a 1985 graduate of Kansas State University receiving a B.S. Degree in Agriculture Economics. Mr. Harris is a graduate of the American Bankers Association - Commercial Lending School at the University of Oklahoma receiving a commercial lending degree in 1990 and is also a graduate of the America Bankers Association - Commercial Lending Graduate School at the University of Oklahoma receiving a commercial lending graduate degree in 1993 (with honors). He is also a past instructor for the American Institute of Banking (AIB) teaching such classes as Money & Banking, Economics and Principles of Banking.
Mr. Harris currently serves as a board member for the Wichita Area Outlook Team (WAOT) sponsored by the Center for Economic Development and Research at Wichita State University. The WAOT group is responsible for addressing and researching various economic factors which impact the Wichita community.
Mr. Chamberlin is a fourteen year commercial banker in the Wichita community, starting his banking career with Fourth Financial Corporation (holding company for Bank IV) in 1992 where he served as a financial analyst. In 1994, Mr. Chamberlin was reassigned to the Corporate/Relationship Banking Division of Bank IV where he served as Vice President-Portfolio Manager. Following the acquisition of Bank IV by Boatman's Bancshares Inc. in 1996, and the subsequent acquisition of Boatman's by NationsBank in 1997, Mr. Chamberlin continued to serve as Vice President-Commercial Lending. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Chamberlin served as Vice President/Client Manager in the Commercial Strategies Group. From 2000 to 2001, Mr. Chamberlin served as Sr. Vice President/Client Manager in the Commercial Growth Group.
In April of 2001, Mr. Chamberlin joined Security Savings Bank in Wichita, Kansas as Regional President. Mr. Chamberlin was responsible for all day-to-day operations within the Wichita Region, and served as the Senior Commercial Lender.
Mr. Chamberlin is a 1978 graduate of Spearville High School and a twenty year resident of West Wichita. Mr. Chamberlin is a 1984 graduate of Brigham Young University with a B.S. Degree in Finance and a minor in Computer Science. Since 1997, Mr. Chamberlin has served in various officer capacities and on the Board of Directors of the Medical Service Bureau, a not-for-profit agency which provides low cost prescriptions to individuals and families that meet certain poverty guidelines.
Mr. Schrag began his banking career as a commercial banker for five years with a community bank in Newton, Kansas. Mr. Schrag was employed as a teller with the bank from May of 2000 until January of 2002. In 2002, Mr. Schrag was appointed as the bank's Assistant Cashier, taking on the additional responsibility of Security Coordinator in 2005. Mr. Schrag joined RelianzBank in 2005 as Assistant Vice President and Cashier. Mr. Schrag’s primary responsibilities at RelianzBank include all functions of accounting, operations, technology and compliance.
Mr. Schrag is a 1998 graduate of Moundridge High School, Moundridge, Kansas. Mr. Schrag is a 2002 graduate of Bethel College, North Newton, Kansas with a B.S degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Mr. Schrag is a member of a Young Bank Officers of Kansas (YBOK), Risk Management Association (RMA) and is very involved in his church as a high school youth sponsor. Mr. Schrag is a resident of Hesston, Kansas.
Ms. Bailey joined RelianzBank as Assistant Branch Manager/Personal Banker. Ms. Bailey has twenty years of banking experience in the Wichita market.
Ms. Bailey started her banking career as a Teller with Citadel Bank which was purchased by BANK IV and ultimately Bank of America. Ms. Bailey’s banking experience includes Certified Bank Teller, Collection Teller, Teller Trainer, Vault Teller and Teller Supervisor. Ms. Bailey delivers exceptional customer service to her clients.
Ms. Quiggle came to RelianzBank accepting the position of Teller Supervisor and Personal Banker. Ms. Quiggle has helped to establish teller policies and procedures and set up teller daily operations. Ms. Quiggle is currently supporting the lending department of the bank in the areas of documentation and compliance.
Ms. Quiggle brings to RelianzBank 11 years of banking experience. She began with Bank IV in 1994 as a part time teller. Ms. Quiggle has since served in many banking capacities such as Certified Teller, Vault Teller, Teller Supervisor and Personal Banker.
Ms. Quiggle's knowledge of day to day banking operations helps to build personal relationships and establish customer satisfaction. Her energy and enthusiasm are appreciated by customers and employees alike. Her organizational skills ensure accurate and excellent customer service for RelianzBank.
